Will I need a hunting license to hunt?
No. Hunting licenses are not required in West Virginia for private hunting preserves.
If I fly to Charleston (CRW), do you offer airport pickup?
Absolutely, we offer complimentary pickup and drop-off at the airport in Charleston, WV (CRW)
Is all lodging, meals and drinks included?
Yes, Goldtown Lodge provides gourmet meals as well as snacks in the field
Does Trophy Whitetail Hunts offer meat processing and taxidermy?
We offer the services of a local meat processor and taxidermist for those hunters who wish to have their game cared for locally. We also arrange transportation of the animal.
Do I have to field dress and drag any animals?
No…our highly skilled guides care for all field dressing and animal recovery.
If I don’t have a rifle, can you provide one?
Yes, we do have rifles that may be rented including a local recoil option.
How many clients per guide?
1:1 ratio
What is the blood draw policy?
Blood is considered a kill, we will make every effort to recover any wounded animal.
